Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Water pump taken.  Old pump was good.  June 19 water off for no reason.  Inspector order still good.  Would like a new hearing on matter.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  June 26 and June 27 respectively

Inspector/Key Staff:  Laura Huseby and Matt Dornfeld respectively

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Staff found the Summary Abatement Order and included it in this appeal.  photos attached  -rrn

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Cornelius E. Brown and Gail Koslowski to a Vacant Building Registration Notice, Notice of Condemnation-Unfit for Human Habitation-Order to Vacate, and Summary Abatement Order at 1692 EDMUND AVENUE and 1694 EDMUND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal to be released from the Vacant Building Program; grant the appeal on the Summary Abatement Order since the nuisance condition has been abated; and grant the appeal on the Condemndation and Order to Vacate as the water has been restored; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
