WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Council File RLH SAO 17-27 on May 17, 2017 which granted 1) an extension to May 12, 2017 to abate the nuisance condition resulting from the above-ground pools; 2) an extension to June 20, 2017 to abate the nuisance condition resulting from the structurally compromised garage and remove the balance of the overgrown and dead vegetation; and 3) an extension to November 1, 2017 for the bricks and temporary structure on site at 1469 ALBANY AVENUE; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on June 20, 2017 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance condition resulting from the structurally compromised garage and removal of of the overgrown and dead vegetation and found these conditions [was / was not] abated the nuisance/dangerous garage structure was removed and abated.  However, overgrown vegetation obstructing the entrance and a pile of dead vegetation in the rear is not abated; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is abated on the nuisance/dangerous structure and the matter resolved and not abated on the overgrown and dead vegetation and therefore authorizes the Department of Safety and Inspections to proceed with this nuisance abatement.
