Appeal of Dan Veesenmeyer to a Vacant Building Registration Notice and Summary Abatement Order at 171 GRANITE STREET.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  May 9, 2017, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Need more time to move wood, etc.  After rain, hill is slippery.  Bad weather, hard to move.  Also, not reasonable.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  April 20, 2017 for both

Inspector/Key Staff:  Matt Dornfeld

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  photos need to be taken again closer to the time of the hearing. 

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Dan Veesenmeyer to a Vacant Building Registration Notice and Summary Abatement Order at 171 GRANITE STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to May 30, 2017 to bring the items, including the drainage of the stagnant water from the pond in the Summary Abatement Order to come into compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
