Purpose of Appeal: Garage is needed. Working on plans. Need time to cut firewood. Relocate materials intended to build garage on site (boulders, bricks, windows, etc.). Yard gets organized as garden is planted. Excavation and tree removal and disorganization occured during recent fence installation along entire area in question. Regrading, planting, etc. Just need time.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Daniel Veesenmeyer to a Summary Abatement Order and Vehicle Abatement Order at 171 GRANITE STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension until June 10, 2016 for the compliance with the Vehicle Abatement Order and grant until June 24, 2016 for compliance with the Summary Abatement Order (exterior/yard); Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
