Modifying Residential Permit Parking Area 17 for the Cleveland Bicycle Project. (Public hearing continued from May 4)

Body
WHEREAS, Public Works has further worked with the community in order to mitigate parking in the area impacted by the upcoming done an additional parking study involving the community and is now moving forward with the Cleveland Avenue Bicycle Project; and
WHEREAS, parking on the west side of Cleveland Avenue must be removed in order to install bicycle lanes and Residential Permit Parking Area 17 will be modified to create some short term parking as a result; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 86-1124 established “No Parking 8 am-8 pm Monday through Friday, Except by Permit” on both sides of Dayton from Cretin to Wilder Street and both sides of Wilder from Summit to Dayton; now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Area 17 street regulation on both sides of Dayton from Cleveland to Wilder and on both sides of Wilder between Dayton and Selby be revised from “No Parking 8 am-8 pm Monday through Friday, Except by Permit” to “1 hour Parking 8am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday, Except by Permit” per the attached map; and be it further
RESOLVED, that both sides of Wilder from Dayton to Marshall (except for Limited Time Zone on the west side of Wilder 80’ south of Marshall) be added to Area 17 and street regulation changed to “1 hour Parking 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday, Except by Permit” per the attached map; and now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that 2062 Marshall and 163-197 Cleveland in Area 16 become eligible to obtain up to 2 vehicle and 2 visitor Area 17 permits per household the following properties in Permit Parking Area 16 are also eligible to purchase 2 vehicle permits and 2 visitor permits in Permit Parking Area 17: 2062 Marshall Avenue (2 vehicle permits and 2 visitor permits per unit) and 163, 167, 173, 179, 183, 187, 193, 197 Cleveland Avenue N; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that these parking regulations shall be coordinated with project ...
