Title

Accepting  $13,255 from Arts-Us for facility upgrades at the Dunning Recreation Center and authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to establish a financing and spending plan of $26,510 for the Dunning Recreation Center Star Grant improvement project.

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Department of Parks and Recreation; and Arts-Us, current building tenant at Dunning Recreation Center, wish to complete facility upgrades utilizing Star Grant Funding, in the total amount of $26,510; and

 

WHEREAS, Arts-Us will provide $13,255 in match dollars; and Saint Paul Parks and Recreation agrees to manage and administer funds for their Star Grant Improvement Project; and

 

WHEREAS, it is the desire of Parks and Recreation to establish a financing and spending budget for the project in the amount of $26,510; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $26,510 in excess of those estimated in the 2015 Capital Improvement Budget; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and the advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $26,510 is available for appropriation in the 2015 Capital Improvement Budget, and said 2015 budget, as therefore adopted by the Council, is hereby further amended.
