Title

Approving adverse action against the Cigarette/Tobacco license and Alarm Permit (Renew) held by Amina Noor Addow d/b/a Park Grocery Store located at 1900 University Avenue West in Saint Paul.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Cigarette/Tobacco license and Alarm Permit (Renew) held by Amina Noor Addow d/b/a Park Grocery Store (License ID #20140002599) for the premises located at 1900 University Avenue West in Saint Paul, were the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend License & Permit dated November 10, 2015, stating the licensee failed to pay delinquent license, permit and late fees and submit required information; and

 

WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code §310.05 (m) (2), the licensing office also recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the licenses; and  

 

WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License & Permit to pay the delinquent license, permit and late fees and submit required information or request a hearing; and 

 

WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License & Permit stated that if the licensee failed to pay the delinquent license, permit and late fees and submit the required information or request a hearing by November 20, 2015, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, the Cigarette/Tobacco license and Alarm Permit (Renew) held by Amina Noor Addow d/b/a Park Grocery Store are hereby suspended for failure to pay delinquent license, permit and late fees.

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, the licensee is ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $500.00 for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the licenses.

 

FINALLY RESOLVED, the license and permit will remain suspended until all delinquent license, permit fees and penalties are paid in full and all required information is submitted to the Department of Safety and Inspections.
