WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Ron Staeheli to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice - Complaint Inspection at 633 PALACE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation is to
1) deny the appeal on all items except #10 which has been abated by the owner and #11 pertaining to the handsink which is granted; and
2) grant to December 1, 2015 for compliance with all items, except for application of paint on the exterior, which shall have a deadline of June 1, 2015 (scraping and repair shall have a December 1, 2015); and
3) direct Code Enforcement to consult with the Department of Safety and Inspection's (DSI) Senior Electrical Inspector on the issue of exposed wiring in the interior main hallway closet (#6) Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
