Appeal of Patricia A. Denny to a Correction Order at 1067 EDGERTON STREET.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH: September 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal: I am appealing the approved surface parking order and asking that I be allowed to continue with class 5 parking surface. I have owned my home for 25 years and parking surface has always been class 5. I am now retired on a fixed income and cannot possibly afford concrete, asphalt or pavers. Thank you, P. Denny

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Patricia A. Denny to a Correction Order at 1067 EDGERTON STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation is to grant the appeal, if the following conditions are met:

 

1) the area for parking proposed by the owner (parking plan) covers 800 square feet. which exceeds the maximum allowable amount under the code by 80 square feet; this must be reduced to be in compliance; and

2) the parking plan does not show a distance of at least 4 feet from the property boundaries, which is a requirement.  If conditions are met, owner will have until January 1, 2016 to come into compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
