Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department-Grant Fund in the amount of $144,617 for the 2015 Auto Theft Grant (RES 15-1261).

Body

WHEREAS, the city council approved the acceptance of the 2015 Auto Theft Grant award from the State of Minnesota, Department of Commerce, (RES 15-1261); and

WHEREAS, the 2015 financing and spending plan needs to be amended for this grant award; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $144,617 in excess of those estimated in the 2015 budget; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2015 budget; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council approves these changes to the 2015 budget.
