Approving the 2014-2015 Emergency Solutions Grant Fund recipients.

WHEREAS, on January 12, 1988, the Council of the City of Saint Paul ("City") approved the procedures to allocate the Emergency Solutions Grant Program ("ESG") funds, formerly known as the Emergency Shelter Grant Program, given to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"); and
WHEREAS, during January 2015, the City issued a Request for Proposals for the ESG Year 2014-2015 which invited eligible nonprofit organizations to submit proposals to use ESG funds to serve Saint Paul homeless residents; and
WHEREAS, the 2014-2015 budget for the ESG funds received by the City from HUD is $541,808; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the approved procedures, the Emergency Solutions Grant Review Committee was consulted about the 2014-2015 ESG grant requests, and based upon the review of the Committee and city staff, the following organizations are now being recommended for funding in the funding amounts as noted in the attached Budget Analysis:
