Purpose of Appeal: The current bedroom is 68.8 sq/ft, below the 70 sq/ft minimum. It meets all other criteria as a sleeping room. I am requesting that it be deemed acceptable. This room is presumably the same as it was when built in early 1900's.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Ben Hosfield for Covenant Capital to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 579 FOREST STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 2 square foot variance on the required 70 square foot requirement for the rear west bedroom in Unit 1; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
