Title

Ratifying the assessments for Excessive Use of Inspection services from April 1 to May 21, 2014. (File No. J1501E, Assessment No. 158300)

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 14-1346 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Use of Inspection Service for the Property Code Violations billed during the time period of April 1 to May 21, 2014; and

WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on January 7, 2015 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 14-557:  594 Case Avenue;

RLH TA 14-552:  512 Central Avenue West;

RLH TA 14-568:  547 Charles Avenue;

RLH TA 14-565:  640 Charles Avenue;

RLH TA 14-549:  1466 Charles Avenue;

RLH TA 14-530:  1432 Edmund Avenue;

RLH TA 14-553:  1056 Euclid Street;

RLH TA 14-556:  1690 Hyacinth Avenue East;

RLH TA 14-536:  1152 Lane Place;

RLH TA 14-558:  346 Maria Avenue;

RLH TA 14-613:  1761 Maryland Avenue East;

RLH TA 14-554:  1282 Minnehaha Avenue West;

RLH TA 14-630:  1120 Sixth Street East;

RLH TA 14-555:  1711 Yorkshire Avenue; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
