1/22/15: This was a no show for both legislative and council public hearings. Therefore, the assessment was ratified. Sandy Jacobs, representing Update Company LLC contacted the Ward 4 Office to ask for additional consideration. I reviewed the file, and also RC tax records and determined the building was sold 8/5/14 and the abatement order was sent on 8/6/14 to the previous owners. Therefore the owner of record did not receive proper notice and I am changing my recommendation, which is reflected in the proposed amendment language in the resolution.
