Appeal of Colleen Walbran, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), on behalf of Chante McCoy, to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 304 MORNINGSIDE CIRCLE.
Purpose of Appeal
Ms. McCoy hereby requests an appeal of the condemnation.  If the water shut-off is not promptly resolved, Ms. McCoy anticipates filing an Emergency Tenant Remedies Action.  Since Ms. McCoy is represented by Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, a waiver of the filing fee is requested.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Colleen Walbran, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), on behalf of Chante McCoy, to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 304 MORNINGSIDE CIRCLE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and only allow re-occupation of the premise when water service is restored; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
