Title

Ratifying the assessments for Excessive Use of Inspection Services billed February 14 to April 5, 2013. (File No. J1306E, Assessment No. 138307)

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 13-802 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Use of Inspection Services for the Property Code Violations billed during the time period of February 14 to April 5, 2013; and

WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 21, 2013 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 13-477:  1340 Bush Avenue;

RLH TA 13-XXX: 1741 Bush Avenue;

RLH TA 13-416:  842 Clear Avenue;

RLH TA 13-418:  667 Fourth Street East;

RLH TA 13-445:  584 Jessamine Avenue East;

RLH TA 13-417:  1178 Margaret Street;

RLH TA 13-422:  346 Maria Avenue;

RLH TA 13-420: 1165 Minnehaha Avenue East;

RLH TA 13-429:  1016 Pacific Street;

RLH TA 13-425:  1656-1658 Sixth Street East;

RLH TA 13-428:  2386 Territorial Road;

RLH TA 13-424: 0 University Avenue West (Parcel ID: 33-29-23-42-0019);

RLH TA 13-421:  773 White Bear Avenue; And, Be It

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessment be payable in one (1) installment unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
