Preliminary Order setting the date of public hearing for March 6, 2013 to consider approval to construct a new sidewalk on York Avenue between Earl Street and Frank Street. (File No. S1304, Asmt No. 135304)

In the matter of constructing a new sidewalk on York Avenue between Earl Street and Frank Street. This block is incomplete on both sides. The new sidewalk is approximately 150' long on the north side of the street, and approximately 280' long on the south side of the street. The new sidewalk will complete the first stretch in the Phalen Corridor pathway.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul, having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $15,900.00, financed by Right-of Way Maintenance, Capital Improvement Bonds, and assessments.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 6th day of March, 2013, at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
