Approving adverse action against the Auto Body Repair Garage and Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle licenses held by More 4 A Buck, Inc., d/b/a More 4 A Buck, 1176 Dale Street North.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Auto Body Repair Garage and Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle licenses held by More 4 A Buck, Inc. d/b/a More 4 A Buck (License ID #20100001573) for the premises located at 1176 Dale Street North in Saint Paul by Notice of Violation dated October 17, 2012, alleging that on April 26, 2012; July 3, 2012; July 19, 2012 and August 14, 2012, during inspections of the licensed premises, the licensee was cited for several repeat license condition violations by an inspector for the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI); and   
 
WHEREAS, due to the number of violations and the licensee's willful failure to bring operations into compliance with City code and his license conditions, the licensing office recommended a $1,000.00 matrix penalty; and    
 
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received a letter from the licensee admitting to the facts but contesting the $1,000.00 matrix penalty and requesting a public hearing which was held on November 20, 2012; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Auto Body Repair Garage and Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle licenses held by More 4 A Buck, Inc. d/b/a More 4 A Buck is hereby ordered to pay a $1,000.00 matrix penalty for repeated license conditions violations found at the licensed premises during four (4) separate inspections.
This resolution, and action taken above, is based upon facts contained in the October 17, 2012, Notice of Violation sent to the licensee and the arguments made at the public hearing on November 20, 2012.
