Granting permanent and temporary easements to MnDOT at Lafayette Road and Warner Road for the Bridge Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul (the "City") owns vacant land as depicted in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation ("MnDOT") is constructing a new Lafayette bridge, and is requesting a permanent highway easement and temporary construction easement from the City for said roadway, as depicted in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, MnDOT has offered to purchase said permanent and temporary easements for Two Hundred Seven Thousand Seven Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($207,700.00), and the Real Estate Manager has determined this to be a fair and reasonable value as determined by an independent appraisal and agreed to between the City and MnDOT; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the City of Saint Paul, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to grant said permanent and temporary easements to MnDOT, execute an Offer to Sell and Memorandum of Conditions and a Highway Easement in a form and content substantially as set forth in Exhibit B attached hereto, and accept payment for said easements to be deposited in an appropriate city account.
