Purpose of Appeal
I have ongoing issues with Inspector James Thomas. He was out of control at the last inspection. He has a personal vendetta. My father and I contacted Leanna Shaff about my concerns. Leanna told my father, James Thomas would not be assigned to my case. The email I sent Leanna was dated July 19, 2012. I have had no response from her. I need time to get money to paint and address the sidewalk.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Charles McCarty to a Revocation of Fire Certificate of Occupancy and Order to Vacate at 1734 SEVENTH STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant until August 27, 2012 for compliance. If not in compliance, the building must be vacated by September 14, 2012; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
