WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Charles Turi to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Inspection Correction Notice at 941 HUDSON ROAD, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer 's recommendation is forthcoming recommends 1) that the City Council grant a 1.5-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window; 2) grant an extension to August 15, 2012 for addressing the unafe wiring and electrical light fixtures in the attic and also for submitings a letter from the asbestos contractor indicating the asbestos present is non-hazardous; and 3) grant until July 18, 2012 for an appeal to be filed for a Board of Zoning Appeals review of this as a duplex or for the building to come into code compliance as a single-family home; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
