Building is stucco and would require a great deal of work to comply with this order.  Also, we are in an historical area of the city.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of John E. Lukas to a Fire Inspection Correction Order at 325 MARIA AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of the egress bedroom windows in all units; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
