Need time. Never received updated deficiency list. Insp. Thomas said he sent it; never received notice of 10/31/11 inspection. Our contractor w/permit for stairway has refused to perform contract - have to deal w/open permit.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Ahti Hujanen and Hillary Hujanen to a Revocation of Fire Certificate of Occupancy and Order to Vacate at 971 CASE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal on all items and grant an extension to the close of business on November 28, 2011 except for exterior painting and the foundation issue for which an extension is granted to May 18, 2012. If the work is not in compliance by the deadline, the order to vacate is in effect by the close of business on December 9, 2011 February 1, 2012. March 1, 2012; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
