Purpose of Appeal
-Clarify and confirm extension of #3, 4, 5a, 8, 9, & 10.
-Confirm #1 isn't necessary due to de-conversion.
-#2 & 7 had been completed prior to re-inspection.
-#11 proof of extension of vacate orders to May 1st was submitted.
**-The "retaining wall" is considered landscaping per the City of St. Paul building & permit office. This "wall" fulfills its function and is not a safety concern.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Juley Viger Speed to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 730 COMO AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal, that the appeallant correct the deficiency items on the list as indicated on the photos, and grant extension to September 15, 2012 on the exterior wall and shingle repairs; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
