Purpose of Appeal: There are still things frozen to the ground outdoors, need time for that to thaw. More time to clean out house. More time to fix and repair damages, find contractors. Possible money issues. Sebring would like to fix if possible, need more time to get money & parts. (Need Dumpster). Waiting for phone calls from Code Enforcement and Lauren Lightner (house calls). No children at house.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Eileen Ciuraru or Richard Ciuraru to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 1616 MINNEHAHA AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council lift the condemnation once the property is inspected the week of April 6 (placard can be removed from property now) and everything Items 1 and 2 must be done; and the balance of orders converted to a Correction Notice with a six-week deadline following the inspection; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
