Approving the request of Energy Park Utility Company to amend rates.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6(e) of the Franchise Ordinance granted by the City in connection with the operation of the Energy Park Utility Company and Ordinance 21-44, notice was filed with the City Clerk on July 9, 2025, notify the City of Saint Paul of proposed changes to Schedule A effective October 1, 2025; and
WHEREAS, on July 23, 2025, Schedule A was filed with the City Clerk for Energy Park Utility Company rates effective October 1, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Chilled Water demand charge of $2,027.00 per MMBtuh per Month is an increase of 2.0% and the Hot Water demand charge of $1,925.00 per MMBtuh per Month is an increase of 2.0%;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul that pursuant to Section 16.03 of the City Charter public hearing requirement, and Section 6(e) of the Franchise Ordinance in effect with respect to the Energy Park Utility Company, the proposed Schedule A is hereby approved.
