Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, September 14, 2021, teleconference between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Due to court, current tenant will vacate Nov. 25.  Repairs and renovations will occur after vacate.  See attached letter.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Lori Kustritz, EMK Holding, to a Correction Notice-Reinspection Complaint at 460 BEAUMONT AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension to January 1, 2022 on the condition 1) the property is not reoccupied (after vacation of current tenant) until Fire Certificate of Occupancy is reinstated; and 2) smoke and carbon detectors are installed by September 21, 2021; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
