Purpose of Appeal
Violations have been corrected but due to unfortunate timing, the property has been condemned. I just needed an extension to correct the violations "in time." We have extensive designs drawn up & plans to renovate the building, but the condemnation holds up progress on the building even though violations had been corrected.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Daniel Erickson to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1558 BLAIR AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal to be out of the Vacant Building Program but will waive the vacant building registration fee for 90 days; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
