Appeal of Anne Kreiser, agent for Kraus-Anderson, to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter at 1450 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST.

Purpose of Appeal: Kraus-Anderson is the owner/manager for the property known as Midway Marketplace. The building located at 1450 University Avenue, St. Paul, is no longer vacant. The building was previously occupied by Walmart. We have a new tenant that is in the process of building out the space. The new tenant is At Home and they have an expected open date of August 1, 2021. -Anne Kreiser, as agent for owner.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Anne Kreiser, agent for Kraus-Anderson, to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter at 1450 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days until September 4, 2021; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
