Title

Amending Council File No. RLH AR 20-133 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during December 24, 2019 to May 18, 2020 at 1362 PALACE AVENUE. (File No. VB2101, Assessment No. 218800)

 

Body

WHEREAS on January 13, 2021, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 20-133 to ratify the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during December 24, 2019 to May 18, 2020. (File No. VB2101, Assessment No. 218800); and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 1362 Palace Avenue , being described as: Sunnyside Plat 2, St. Paul, MI EX E 35 Ft Lot 19 and all of Lot 18 Blk 3, with the property identification number 10-28-23-24-0081 was assessed an amount of $2,284; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this file under File No. SR 21-18 on February 9, 2021 and recommended that the City Council delete the assessment due to the fire, Covid, insurance and the building itself was demoed - resulting in no building being present to be a part of the Registered Vacant Building Program; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2,284, plus any accrued interests, be deleted.  Council File No. RLH AR 20-133 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
