Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): Resident stated that she has overpaid by $288.24. WM had this resident under two different account numbers. She called into WM and was told that the resident had overpaid. WM said that they were moving this to the new STP account and that the Q1 and Q2 amounts should be removed.
Staff Comments: Waste Management confirmed that the property owner was making payments on the wrong account. They have moved the money to the correct account. Staff called property owner and left a VM on 9/25/19 to explain this. Staff recommends deleting the assessment.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during April to June 2019. (File No. CG1903A2, Assessment No. 190122) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
