Title

Amending Council File RLH SAO 26-11, adopted March 4, 2026, to grant Negil Neely an additional extension for property at 1079 WESTERN AVENUE NORTH.

 

Body

WHEREAS, on March 4, 2026, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File #RLH SAO 26-11, said Resolution being the memorialization of Second Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for property at 1079 Western Avenue North; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing recommended that the City Council granted an extension to December 31, 2025 to abate the nuisance conditions: proper removal or storage of tires and pallets from the property; grant to January 30, 2026 for removal or proper storage of all remaining items aside from tires, pallets, lattice & tree debris, and grant to May 31, 2026 for removal of the lattice under porch and tree debris. Appeal granted on totes on porch if lidded, card table, and trough if made water permeable from the property; and

 

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council amended the extension to February 20, 2026 under file RLH SAO 26-3 adopted by Council on January 21, 2026; and

 

WHEREAS, after the public hearing on March 4, 2026, there was confusion as to what items were and were not  abated in the February 20, 2026 deadline; therefore, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends granting until May 31, 2026 for all items to come into compliance; Now Therefore, Be It,

 

RESOLVED, that an extension is hereby granted to May 31, 2026.
