WHEREAS, in the matter of Mary Olson to a Notice to Cut Tall Grass and/or Weeds at 555 ASHLAND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to October 2, 2026 for 1) yard side of sidewalk may continue to be in excess of 8" as it is native planting/garden; 2) reduce boulevard planting height to 18" or less within 30' of corner and fire hydrants must remain unobstructed; and 3) boulevard plants which are located more than 30' from the corner may be 42" or less; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
