WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 23-44 on March 20, 2024 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 1213 Woodbridge Street; and
reviewed this case on September 24, 2024 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated, but recommends granting an additional 180 days, pending the posting of an additional $5,000 performance deposit and submission for review and approval of an updated work plans and schedule for review and approval;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends the continuation of the original $5,000 performance deposit if as the above conditions are met; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is forthcoming pending the recommendation of the Legislative Hearing Officer to continue the $5,000 performance deposit and grant an extension of 180 days to complete the nuisance abatement; and be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council refers this matter to Legislative Hearing April 22, 2025 and Council Public Hearing May 7, 2025.
