First Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 523 BEAUMONT STREET in Council File RLH RR 22-48.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 22-48 on September 13, 2023 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 523 Beaumont Street; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on March 12, 2024 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed the file again and recommends that if the nuisance is abated as Certificate of Code Compliance was is not issued on March 29, 2024 by April 3, 2024, the public hearing should be continued to April 17, 2024 and a new work plan be required by close of business, April 8, 2024, if the Certificate has not been issued; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is not abated and matter resolved withholds a determination on an extension.
