WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 24-1073 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Use of Inspection or Abatement Service for the Property Code billed during the time period of February 22 to March 21, 2024; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on January 8, 2025 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; and

 

WHEREAS, the assessment amount for each property will be payable in a term of 1 year, with the property taxes in 2026; unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments:

 

RLH TA 24-320:  515 Beamont Street;

RLH TA 24-376:  1386 Edmund Avenue;

RLH TA 24-346:  443 Johnson Parkway;

RLH TA 25-XX:  104 Ivy Avenue West - delete for separate consideration and to refer to January 9, 2025 Legislative Hearing; and

 

WHEREAS, the assessment will bear an interest rate of 5.65 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this resolution; and

 

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota State Statues and Chapter 60 of the Saint Pail Administrative Code, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
