Ratifying the assessment for the improvements on Randolph Avenue from Syndicate to 35E. (File No. 19196, Assessment No. 165206)

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 16-1380 accepted the Report of Completion for the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for constructing new bituminous surfaced street with concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway aprons and outwalks, and boulevard landscaping with sod and trees. Existing lights were replaced with new lantern style street lighting systems. New traffic signals were constructed at Edgcumbe Road and Lexington Avenue.
Also as part of the project, special attention was paid to bring the existing pedestrian ramps up to current ADA standards.
This was a Ramsey County project and was designed by them and they performed the construction administration. The majority of the project was also funded by Ramsey County; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on October 5, 2016 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the construction work; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the said assessment is hereby in all respects ratified.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the assessment be made payable in twenty (20) equal installments.
