Amending Council File RLH AR 25-62 approving the Ratifying of the assessment adopted by Council on August 13, 2025 at 1517 VAN BUREN AVENUE. (File No. CG2503A2, Assessment No. 250117)

 

Body

WHEREAS, on August 13, 2025, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File RLH AR 25-62, said Resolutions being the memorialization of appeal for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2025. (File No.CG2503A2, Assessment No.250117); and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 1517 Van Buren Avenue, being described as: Dobner’s Rearrangement of Block 2 The Hamline Syndicate Add. No. 1 St. Paul, Minn. Lot 12, with the property identification number 34-29-23-22-0094 was assessed an amount of $71.97; and

WHEREAS, City Council adopted File RLH AR 25-62 approving the assessment; and

WHEREAS, Public Works staff made a request to review this case again for reconsideration because the file was paused for staff to reach out to the hauler for further question as to whether the charges were legit as owner purchased the home in October 2024 and missed the deadline to put on the July 10, 2025 Legislative Hearing and Council date on August 13, 2025; and

WHEREAS, a legislative hearing was conducted under RLH SR 25-246 on November 13, 2025 to review this request; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends ratifying the assessment; Now Therefore, Be It,

 

RESOLVED, that the assessment fee of $71.97, plus any accrued interests, be hereby ratified.
