Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during August 14 to November 20, 2018. (File No. VB1907, Assessment No. 198806)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 19-79 accepted the Report of Completion for Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during the time period of August 14 to November 20, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on April 17, 2019 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter and Chapter 60 of the Administrative Code, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 19-131: 1667 Ames Avenue;
RLH TA 19-134: 971 Arcade Street;
RLH TA 19-135: 1055 Fremont Avenue;
RLH TA 19-95: 1148 Geranium Avenue East;
RLH TA 19-133: 721 Jackson Street;
RLH TA 19-150: 1883 Lacrosse Avenue;
RLH TA 19-104: 1006 Maryland Avenue East;
RLH TA 19-136: 1816 Minnehaha Avenue East;
RLH TA 19-154: 995 Reaney Avenue;
RLH TA 19-155: 1895 Saint Anthony Avenue;
RLH TA 19-188: 1884 Summit Avenue; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
