Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: Appellant brought in the Revocation of Fire Certificate of Occupancy and Order to Vacate dated 9/9/19. Staff found a more recent document to appeal: Vacant Building Registration Notice dated 10/17/19. Legislative Hearing Officer told staff that the owner should bring proof of ownership to the Legislative Hearing because this is the third appeal for this address in October. This was relayed to the appellant.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Shai Leibovich to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1129 BEECH STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant until November 26, 2019 to be released from the Vacant Building Program if the Fire Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) is reinstated; if the Fire C of O is not reinstated, the property must be vacated by January 1, 2020; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
