Appeal of Carolyn Brown, Community Stabilization Project, on behalf of RBK Management, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1129 BEECH STREET.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, October 22, 2019, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Under new management.  We just received notice today.  Seeking time to get property up to code.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  October 17, 2019

Inspector/Key Staff:  Tom Friel

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appellant had an August document to appeal.  Staff was able to find a 9/9/2019 document, which is still too late to appeal.  Today, a vacant building notice was put in STAMP.  That is what is being appeal.

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Carolyn Brown, Community Stabilization Project, on behalf of RBK Management, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1129 BEECH STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal, noting the owner or property representative (Renters Warehouse) must filed an appeal by October 29, 2019 or property must be vacated by November 1, 2019; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
