WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Greg and Brenda Saura, Champion Holdings, to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate plus Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1227 GALTIER STREET; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council change the vacant building status from Category 2 to Category I and waive the Vacant Building fee for 90 days if the Appellant can get the Fire Certificate of Occupancy done by Sep 30, 2011.   If the work is not done, it will be a Category 2 and Appellant will need to obtain a Code Compliance Inspection; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
