We are still waiting on work plan and evidence of financing as of May 30, 2017. I will send this resolution through and assume these will be forthcoming. If they are not, I will ask for this item to be pulled from the Legislative Hearing Consent Agenda for further discussion. -Moermond

WHEREAS, City Council File RLH RR 16-36 which ordered the rehabilitation or razing and the demolition of the structure of 106 King Street East within 180 days after the September 7, 2016 City Council Public Hearing; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer and Code Enforcement Manager request a Legislative Hearing on May 23, 2017 to review this case again and consider granting a stay of enforcement for the rehabilitation of this house; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer considered the context of the following:
1. submit evidence of financing in the amount of $10,000; and
2. provide a new work plan, including timelines, to address the remaining items; Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter, granting a stay for a period of 180 days for the completion of the rehabilitation of the property; and be it further
RESOLVED, that if the necessary corrective action has not been taken within the time allotted, the Department of Safety and Inspections is authorized to take those steps necessary to raze and remove this structure and to charge the costs incurred in accordance with Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง45.12(4).
