Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $37,000 for the amount received from the sale of the land located at 1683 Energy Park Drive.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department received a payment of $37,000 from the Wellington Group for the sale of a portion of the land located at 1683 Energy Park Drive; and
WHEREAS, the sale of the land was approved on RES PH 20-14 and RES 25-1088; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to purchase needed equipment for the department with this funding; and
WHEREAS, the spending and financing plans have not been established for the payment received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends pursuant to Section 10.7.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $37,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2026 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the addition as specified in the attachment "Fire Department Land Sale $37,000" be made in the 2026 budget; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council approves the changes in the 2026 budget.
