Moving CIB Contingency to the Parks and Recreation Department’s 2015 Capital maintenance program to fix safety issues at the Forestry Operations Building.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department forestry section operations building is not secure from the outside and is accessible to wildlife; and
WHEREAS, the building is a health and safety concern due to its condition; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department is requesting $35,350 to secure the building from the outside environment and wildlife, sanitize areas of the Forestry Operations Building that were affected, and to make affected areas safe from further infestations; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department is requesting the use of available contingency funds; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, that $35,350 is available for appropriation in the Parks and Recreation 2015 Capital Maintenance Budget, and as heretofore adopted by the Council, is hereby further amended:

The Saint Paul Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee received this request on August 10, 2015. The Committee did not reach quorum but recommended approval.
