Amending Council File No. RLH AR 20-9 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during January 18 to August 19, 2019 at 1553 LAFOND AVENUE. (File No. VB2005, Assessment No. 208804)

 

Body

WHEREAS on February 19, 2020, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 20-9 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during January 18 to August 19, 2019. (File No. VB2005, Assessment No. 208804); and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 1553 Lafond Avenue, being described as: Hamline Syndicate Addition No. 2 to Saint Paul, Ramsey County, Minn. Lot 20 Blk 3, with the property identification number 34-29-23-22-0203 was assessed an amount of $2284; and

 

WHEREAS, Department of Safety & Inspections staff recommends deleting the assessment due to inspector error.  Owner was only in the program for 3 months;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2284, plus any accrued interests, be deleted.  Council File No. RLH AR 20-9 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
