Amending Council File RLH VO 25-23, adopted November 19, 2025, to grant Paris Gety an additional extension to a Condemnation a Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate and a Summary Abatement Order for property at 855 THIRD STREET EAST.

WHEREAS, on November 19, 2025, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File #RLH VO 25-23, said Resolution being the memorialization of an appeal to Condemnation a Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate and a Summary Abatement Order for property at 855 Third Street East; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommended that the City Council grant Paris Getty grant to December 1, 2025 for compliance with Summary Abatement Order; grant to December 22, 2025 to have electrical permit pulled and rough in inspection done and the gas line capped or repaired pending confirmation by Inspector that illegal sleeping rooms have been removed and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors/alarms have been installed as needed and grant to April 1, 2026 for balance of the order; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council considered the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter; and
WHEREAS, the Appellant, Paris Getty, is requesting additional extension for the compliance of the property; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an additional extension to June 26, 2026 for compliance; Now Therefore, Be It,
RESOLVED, that extensions are hereby granted to June 26, 2026.
