Establishing the rate of pay for the new classification of Communication Equipment Technician in Grade 037 of EG 02, AFSCME Technical.

WHEREAS, a new classification of Communication Equipment Technician was created; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources conducted an organizational design study for the classification of Communication Equipment Technician; and
WHEREAS, the results of the study instruct that the rate of pay for the new classification of Communication Equipment Technician be established at the rate set forth in Grade 037, of Employee Group 02, the AFSCME Technical Salary Schedule; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the new classification of Communication Equipment Technician be established at the rate set forth in Grade 037, of Employee Group 02, the AFSCME Technical Salary Schedule, and that this resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval.
