Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 957 PROSPERITY AVENUE in Council File RLH RR 19-19.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 19-19 on June 26, 2019 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 957 Prosperity Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on January 14, 2020 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated; however, building inspection staff report 75% of the rehabilitation is complete; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council continue the current $5,000 performance deposit and grant an additional 180 days to complete the rehabilitation or removal of the property; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding and recommendation of the legislative hearing officer.
