Pertaining to a Source Water Protection Plan Implementation Grant application to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) to fund the development of an ArcGIS Story Map that will fulfill several SPRWS Wellhead Protection Plan management strategies.
Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul has need to implement management strategies outlined in the Wellhead Protection Plan; and
WHEREAS, staff has been advised to apply for $10,000 in Source Water Protection Plan Implementation grant funding to be used for implementation of the Wellhead Protection Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Board has the legal authority to apply for the grant, and has the financial, technical, and managerial capacity to comply with the grant agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Board does hereby direct staff to make application for grant funding to the Minnesota Department of Health, and hereby authorizes its General Manager of Saint Paul Regional Water Services to execute any and all forms as may be required in said application.
